A 12th century museum piece during the reign of Jayavarman VII when large number of Khmer bronzes were produced due to high demand which led to a high output of larger number of smaller bronzes but of lesser quality. This Khmer  Triad with  Buddha protected  by Muchalinda  in the centre and flanked on either side by  Vishnu and Uma is of exceptional quality and size for the period. Green patinated bronze H 12” X  7”, 12th-13th century or possibly later up to 18th century.
