A rare and unique heavy solid cast bronze depicting one of the most defining moments in Buddha's life and Buddhism. In this bronze Prince Siddhartha is seen leaving his Royal household after discarding his royal attire and clad in monastic clothes, praying on his horse led by his horseman Channa. He was never to be seen again on a horse, that was his royal symbol. A rare Sino-Tibetan bronze, green patina, Wt 5 Kg, H 13” X  W 11.5”, ca 19th to 20th century
