Hevajira, Khmer Bronze with 8 heads and 16 arms. In Tantric Buddhism, also known as Vajrayana, Hevajra is the most important deity in Cambodia from eleventh century onwards. Hevajra Tantra was brought to Cambodia during the Khmer Empire and was practiced both in Cambodia and Thailand from the 10th to 13th century, ca 1200-1300 AD. H 8.75”, ca 19th - early 20th century.
