Krishna
Krishna is a mischievous and romantic god who stole butter from his neighbors, flirted and seduced the cow-girls or Gopis with the magic of his flute. His love affair with Radha provided the epitome of romantic art and sculptures in Hinduism. Yet he was a conqueror who overcame Kaliya the evil serpent of River Jamuna. This section of sculpture illustrates many aspects of his human and divine nature.
