Unusual and rare South Indian bronze of  Kamadhenu, a  bovine-goddess with her calf, decorated hump with two rows of bells around her neck.  L 2.2" X 2.2" ca 19th century. She is a miraculous "cow of plenty" who provides her owner whatever he desires and is often portrayed as the mother of other cattle as well as the eleven Rudras.
